Founder & President, Brad Lipman
The Story of TablePay
Solutions®?
TablePay Solutions was founded by Brad Lipman, after his
account information was stolen at a restaurant in Southern
California. After learning very quickly that his
information was "skimmed" by a pocket device available on
the internet for less than $300, Brad learned about the
system for payments being used in European restaurants, as
a result of new banking laws known as "Chip & PIN".
Because of these laws, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs
needed a portable way of accepting credit card payments,
which we call TablePay. He founded TablePay
Solutions®
in 2007 to sell this technology as a response to the
rapidly growing epidemic of skimming and identity theft.
Since then, Brad has become a leading industry expert in
the area of skimming prevention and identity theft and is
an advocate for the victims of these crimes. He has been
quoted in the national and local press, and has spoken at
national industry conferences.
